Overview:
This fair is designed for students and alumni eligible to work no later than Fall 2013. Over 40 employers, schools, and school districts seeking candidates of all experience levels for positions as teachers, administrators, advisors, and counselors.
Full Description:
You are invited to participate in the 7th annual Education Job Fair. Employers, schools, and school districts from the Chicago area will be seeking entry level and experienced teachers, administrators, advisors, and counselors.
PLEASE NOTE: This fair will be open to the public from 11:30am-2pm. Members of the public MUST pre-register through the EventBrite site for this fair (this site will be available starting in November). The fair will only be open to DePaul students and alumni from 10-11:30am.
Registration:
Register via DePaul.Experience at http://depaul.experience.com. After logging in, select the "Calendar" section.
Registration for non-DePaul job seekers will be available through EventBrite: depauleducationfair.eventbrite.com
Pre-registration will be available until Thursday, February 21st and is greatly appreciated. Free registration is also available onsite the day of the event in the Student Center (DePaul ID required).

Prepare for the Fair:
1. Attend the "Maximize Your Job & Internship Fair Experience" workshop.
This FREE 1-1 ½ hour session teaches participants how to effectively showcase their skills and abilities

2. Visit the Career Center's Peer Career Advisors for a resume review.
Peer Career Advisors are highly trained undergraduates who advise students and alumni concerning basic career related issues on a walk-in basis.
3. Dress for success & bring plenty of resumes!
Professional dress is strongly recommended by the Career Center ¿ it's what employers will expect of you! A business suit or a professional style pair of slacks, button down shirt or blouse and dress shoes are considered appropriate attire for job and internship fairs.
4. Practice interviewing online with InterviewStream. You can use InterviewStream whenever you want to prepare for all of your job, internship and co-op interviews.
* Employers will be inviting job seekers they meet at the fair for post fair interviews. All interviews will be scheduled on-site by recruiters at the fair.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be a crew videotaping and photographing segments of this event. Images will be used in DePaul Career Center materials for internal and external audiences, including but not limited to brochures, websites, and newsletters. By entering the event premises, you grant to DePaul University the right and license to use your name, image, likeness and comments for such materials. If you do not want to be captured, please inform the Staff at registration
